<< The Earlier You Start Training Your Puppy The Better  What's the best method for house training a puppy? >>

I recently adopted a 3 mo old jack russell mix. she seems very bright and has mastered a few "tricks" but insists on doing her business indoors. I take her out about once an hour and always when I catch her attempting to go inside. I use petting and treats as rewards, but still no progress.

Try to use a crate for potty training. That’s what i did, and it worked. Now i have a bell that i hang on my door, and when i ring it, he knows that he’s supposed to come outside to pee or poop. And you should only give him treats when he does it outside. Anyways, now when my dog needs to pee or poop or even just go outside to play, he rings the bell on our door. Hope that helped!
