First and foremost never, never, never, hit your puppies. Only repremand the pups for going in the house if you catch them in the act. A firm "No, you potty outside," and them take them outside. Take them out every 1-2 hours at first, increasing the time between visits outside as they grow, and shortly after eating. Don’t give them the chance to go in the house by keeping them in a crate when you are not at home. Look for cues that they need to go outside, like sniffing intently at the floor. Whenever they do go outside, give tons of praise let them know they are doing what you want, they want to please you and make you happy!
Also I have found it to be helpful to reward with a treat, when they do go potty outside so they know they are going outside to potty not to play.
And never rub thier nose in any messes they make, this can make them very ill or make them think that they are supposed to eat thier feces or urine

Don’t listen to DUH DUH DUH The only time it is exceptable to hit the dog is if you catch them in the act, even then DON’T do the rub the nose in it and spanking. Firmly tell the dog no and take him outside where you want him to go. The best way to house break is to take the dogs outside about every 30 to 1 hour, when they go make a big deal about it and tell them how good they were. Dont’t start rewarding them right away with treats, they will think that by going outside they get cookies…that will come later. Just always try to remember like with children possitive re-enforcement is the best.

if they poop in the house tell them no and hit there but wit a newspaper.duh duh duh duh duh
