<< I am looking for an in-house dog training school. Drop her off pick her up when trained?  I need help with adult dog house training!? >>

Drop her off at a rescue instead. You really shouldn’t have a dog.

Sounds to me like you dont want anything to do with the training!!! The dog has to know who the boss is, and if someone else trains it, it still isnt going to listen to you. If you cant go to the training, I suggest you give it to someone who will be more into the dog…you just want the easy way out…

So they will train the dog for you — but who’s going to train you??

The problem with "boarding school" dog training services is that, although they may train your dog, they don’t live with your dog — you do. Who do you want the dog to listen to?

It’s a much better idea in the long run to commit to training classes — or even a private trainer — with your dog. *You* learn how to train your dog, *you* tell the trainer what you need to work on, the dog learns to listen to *you*.

all obediance training is done with the owner too because you need to participate in the training. the only other type is for training attack dogs to protect a large warehouse like Coca Cola or business’s of large calibur but even then the person that has to feed the animal and take care of them has to be involved in the ”attack/protection” training process.

Dog training is more about training YOU than the dog. They will teach you how to handle your dog and communicate with her. She can be the best-trained dog in the world, but if you don’t know how to command her respect, she’s not going to listen to you.

I hope that such a place does not exist, and if it does, please re-consider it. It’s not going to work. Your dog will listen and behave wonderfully for the professional trainer, then go back to her old ways once you get her home.

Isn’t that odd, I thought that I was an original when I began offering Day School for dogs which includes a 1/2 hr. instruction on pickup for the owners. Sorry I can’t help you though, I’m about 1000 miles away.
