I’m getting a German Shepherd, and I want it for a house dog…Please help:)

    Well, really it depends on the type of dog. All you have to do is be firm with him and reward him when he does what you like. Sometimes treats will work too. Eventually, he’ll think, Oh they want me to do that. I know how to do that. Just use different firm tones so he doesn’t get confused. Hope that helps!

    If the puppy is real young I suggest taking him/her out every hour if possible. Take him to the door and tell him out. He will learn to tell you in his own way. Just watch for the sign. It will take some time but be patient.
    I think it is easier to house break a larger dog.
    You can try training pads but I never had much luck with them. It depends on the dog.
    Be sure to reward him when he does right. Even attention works. It doesn’t always have to be a treat.
