I agree that crate training is the best option. You also should get your carpets cleaned. Dogs can smell where they have gone to the bathroom for months after and they will soil in the same area. You can rent one of those cleaning machines at the market and do it yourself for a lot less money.

You will also want to limit the area that she is able to be in. For instance, only allow her in the living room...If you are in there, she is allowed. The main reason you want to keep her in the same room with you is so you can catch her in the act if she starts going. Clap your hands loudly, say no, then take her outside to her spot and tell her go potty. If she goes, treat her and praise her a lot. Trust me, she will get the point fast.

I would also go back to the basic potty training. A few minutes after she eats or drinks, make her go out. If she does her business, give her a treat and praise like crazy. If she doesn't, take her in and make her go out and try in another 10-15 minutes.

DO NOT rub your dogs nose in her messes if she has an accident. So many people do that and it only scares and confuses dogs. You do not want to punish her. Make sure you reward her positive behavior. Dogs respond much better to that.
References :
I have potty trained a lot of dogs

Put her into a kennel to sleep. She will not soil her sleeping space. Let her out the first thing. It is not cruel to place her there for sleeping. She may even prefer it. Leave the kennel out and open during the day. Giving her a schedule rather than waiting for her to "tell" you might work better.
References :
keep the dog outside until he goes to the bathroom. when he does praise him and scold him when he goes in the house. try to get a routine such as: take him out every morning till he goes to the bathroom. take him out as oft as possible during afternoon and once in the evening before bed. use treats if nessecary. a note: puppies digest quickly so take him outside right after he finishes eating and wait till he goes. if he doesnt go, run him around a little then wait again.
References :
HI, This is the number one question Dog Owners always ask me. How to Housebreak their dogs.

You have to understand the basics. What goes in must come out and you have to know when that is. You have to put your pet on a schedule.

Sit down and make a list of times your going to feed and water them. Make sure you give enough time for them to consumpe both.

An example would be when you get up in the morning take them out then bring them in and feed, water. leave it down for about 30 minutes. Then take them out agian. If their puppies your going to have to do this several times aday. But do this atleast 3 times aday and give a little water in between the feeding. That's right, you have to pick the water up too.

You don't have to leave water down all the time if their in a controlled eviroment like a house. Outside is different. But once the food and wtaer is down for 30 miutes, pick both up.

Write down the times your going to do this, plus the times you take them out. Stick with it. If they have anaccident in the house. DON"T yell at them, just writhe down the time and see if there's a trend of going that time of a several day period. If there is, adjust the schedule to make sure they go out at that time.

Some Dogs are very hard to housebreak, but with a schedule, atleast they will know when their going to be feed and taken out.

If your going out, crate them and then when you return just continue on with the schedule. If you have any other questions. Feel free to email me.

Best wishes
References :
Retired Police K-9 Instructor and Dog Trainer with 35 years experience

You could try crate training, you could try keeping her on a lead while in the house so that she isn't out of your sight, or you could try not waiting for her to ask you to go out and just take her out every hour or so.
References :
go outside with him. when he uses the bathroom outside make a big deal out of it and feed him treats. Trust me, this works. eventually he will associate using the bathroom outside as a positive thing. don't worry he's still young. he should out grow it but definitly try the treat thing :)
