After a while, he learned that OUTSIDE is the place to go. Now he whines at the door to the patio and scratches, whcih is what we taught him to do, if he needs to go. I suggest letting your new puppy out like every 3-4 hours. When he gets to about...6-9 months, try 6 hours.
